About us
The Hudson Scholar is a student-run monthly magazine that aims to showcase the diverse and vibrant culture of Hudson County. We publish every 23rd of the month, covering a wide range of topics, from art and literature to sports and food. Our team is made up of passionate and dedicated columnists, writers, photographers, artists, poets, and editors of all ages who are committed to delivering high-quality content that informs, entertains, and inspires our readers. Through our magazine, we hope to provide a platform for local talents and voices to be heard, while also keeping our readers up-to-date on the latest news and events in our community. Join us on this exciting journey as we explore and celebrate all that Hudson County has to offer.
Our magazine was founded in 2024, as a creative outlet for people to speak their mind and show to the world the talent they possess. It is 100% student run, meaning we are an independent team of students with the sole goal of publishing genuine and authentic content. We have contributors all around the county, including Jersey City, Bayonne, Union City, Hoboken, Secaucus, North Bergen, West New York, Gutenberg, Harrison, and Kearny. Every month, the magazine publishes a new issue a week before the new month to inform readers about future events happening and new thoughts for the upcoming month. The magazine includes an arts, culture, literature, opinions, food, reviews, sports, health, and interview sections to provide articles from all scopes of our everyday lives. We will continue to curate top articles that will give you an overview of our thoughts and what is to come.
